I should like to thank you all for your overwhelming generosity on my retirement and for the surprize send off at the end of the last day. My new Kindle is in good service, I love the charging dock, have plans for the vouchers and much appreciated the tree dedications. I had a further surprize that evening when I was lured to Thurrock Rugby Club to find my past and current staff waiting to celebrate with me. I have always felt proud and privileged to be headteacher of Woodside. It is an outstanding school which has been difficult for me to leave and no small part of that has been due to your amazing children. Thank you and goodbye.
