School Times

Please note we now start at 8.45 am for both infant and junior children rather than 8.55 am for infants and 8.45 am for juniors. Please bring ALL children at this time as it gives us more time for learning.

  • Parents can drop children at an external gate in the morning. Staff will supervise the playground and make sure children get to the correct classroom and that no children come back out of school.
  • Please do not reverse your car or turn around outside the school.

Morning Drop-off

  • All Years, including Nursery:  8:45 a.m.

Collection

  • Year 6 & Year 5 children will go out of the gate alone (unless joining parents collecting younger children).

Collection times will be:

  • All Years: 3:00 p.m.
  • Years 5 and 6 will be coming in and out of school on their own and if you want to meet them you will need to do this outside of our grounds.

The total hours we are open in a typical week is 31 hours 15 mins (6 hours 15 minutes per day).

We are currently considering how we can best increase our hours to satisfy the government's expectation of 32.5 hours from September 2024, and the infants starting at the same time as the juniors is part of this process.

Unlike many schools in the area we are still open for 190 days of teaching in the academic year and we also have a large number of extra-curricular activities.
