Our School Council consists of children elected from each class from Year 2 to Year 6, and provides children with an active model of the democratic process. The council meets monthly to discuss all kinds of school issues, including learning, and take the lead in charity events. The council have represented the school at the Armistice Day and Holocaust Memorial Day events, and visited the Mayor of Thurrock in the Council Chamber to learn how democracy works. The School Council decide on charities for the school to support.
