  • Book Week Competition March 26

    Published 27/02/26

We are running a ‘Wooden Spoon Book Character/s’ competition to celebrate World Book Day 2026.  Children are invited to think about how their favourite book character/s could be represented by using a wooden spoon/s.  You may choose to buy a wooden spoon or a few if you would like to create a character scene from your favourite book. Alternatively, you can use a simple cardboard used kitchen role tube to showcase your design/character/s.

Please make sure that ‘Wooden Spoon Book Character/s’ competition entries are clearly labelled with your child’s full name, year group and class.

All entries must be in school on the morning of Friday 27th February 2026 for judging.  Winners will be announced and will receive a prize on Friday 6th March 2026. Wooden Spoon Book character/s will be available for viewing by the whole school as part of our World Book Day celebrations.

Many thanks for your support and good luck!
