School Meals – New System from September

From September 2026, Woodside Academy will be working with a new catering provider, Stir Foods, and introducing a new online meal ordering and payment system called SwiftKitchen.

Ordering School Meals

All school meals must be pre-booked in advance using the SwiftKitchen system. Parents can log in to select meals for their child and manage bookings easily.

You can register for SwiftKitchen now, with meal and payment options becoming available closer to September.

Meal Costs

• Nursery and KS2 pupils: £2.80 per meal

• Reception, Year 1 and Year 2: Universal Infant Free School Meals

• KS2 pupils eligible through Universal Credit: Free School Meals

Please note: All meals must still be booked via SwiftKitchen, even if your child is entitled to free meals.

Getting Started

Each child will receive a unique login key to access SwiftKitchen. This is required to set up your account.

Food Allergens and Intolerances

If your child has a food allergen or intolerance, an additional form will be provided. This must be completed and returned to the school before the end of term.

Other Payments

SwiftKitchen is used for school meals only. All other payments (e.g. Breakfast Club, After School Club and trips etc) will continue to be managed through ParentMail.
