Homework:

MyMaths Homework will be set every Friday and is expected to be completed by the following Friday.

Reading is expected at least 5 times a week for 5-10 minutes each time. Every child who reads 5 times a week will be entered into the weekly book raffle. Please make sure your child has their reading diary with them signed every day.

TTRockstars is a fantastic resource that Woodside subscribes to. Every child has a login for this. Class tournaments are set regularly on TTRockstars to encourage children to practise their times tables. These are fundamental skills for the children’s future maths learning.

The Government’s set times tables test takes place in June for all year 4 children. Children will each take a times table test using an electronic device which consists of 25 questions, with a 6 seconds limit for each question. TTRockstars soundcheck game is a great way to practise this.

Children will have P.E. on the following days:
  • 4N – Monday and Thursday
  • 4R – Monday and Wednesday
  • 4K – Monday and Thursday
