Admissions
As an Academy, we have set our own admission criteria, which you can read below. We do not stage special admission events but normally offer tours for prospective Reception parents. Please be aware it is our policy to always place twins or triplets in different classes, except in nursery.
Please note that Woodside Academy DOES NOT have a SEN hub in the school.
Nursery Admissions 2026
The admissions for nursery places is now closed for September 2026.
If you would like to be added to our waiting list, please complete an application form and return it to the school office or via email at admissions@woodsideacademy.org. Please refer to our admissions arrangements for the process of allocating spaces.
Nursery Admissions 2027
Application forms are now ready to complete for the September 2027 intake. Your child must turn 3 before the 31st August 2027 to be able apply for a space. Please refer to our admissions criteria for the process of allocating spaces. Application forms can be emailed to admissions@woodsideacademy.org or, alternatively, you can hand in to the school office.
Primary Admissions 2026
The admission application for Reception places from September 2026 is now closed and offers have now been received. All other information relating to Reception admissions is on the Thurrock Council website.
Secondary Admissions 2026
Secondary 2026 applications are now closed. All the information relating to secondary admissions is on the Thurrock Council website.

In-Year Admissions
If you would like to add your child to the waiting list for an in-year transfer, you will need to contact Thurrock Council.
