Steel Pan

If you have your computer's sound switched on you may have heard our own steel band "Woodside Steel" playing their version of Pachebel's Canon when you opened this web site. Children rehearse every Tuesday before school and are often invited to play at local events. There is also weekly class lessons for year 3. Our Steel Pan teacher is Mr Sayer from Thurrock Music Services. Both our Lunchtime and after school group played at our  Steel Pan concert and Woodside Steel performed at the Mayor's Charity Ball at Thurrock Civic Hall on Friday 3rd March.
