As there are no official SATs this year we gave our year 6 children previous papers they had not seen, with the following results:
Reading 80% expected, 23% greater depth
GPS 83% expected, 33% greater depth
Maths 79% expected, 19% greater depth
These would be considered good results in normal circumstances, but given that children have been at home for about half the year leading up to these tests and have not had the usual booster classes or other support other years have enjoyed, they are excellent. This may be due to the first class online teaching we provided when children where at home and for the high take-up of this by our pupils. Well done children and staff for their hard work and to parents for supporting children's learning at home.
