During the summer we will be ran catch-up sessions for Y3 and Y5 children on the Tuesday and Thursday of the 2nd, 3rd, & last week of the holiday (4th, 6th, 11th, 13th, 25th & 27th August) and some limited sessions for other year. The letters we sent on this are below. Look out for similar activities at half term and Easter holidays.
If you have children in these years you should have had an invitation via parent mail and you need to book a place. Children will have upbeat maths and English lessons in the morning and craft or sports activities in the afternoon. The whole day is free including lunch and snacks and for your convenience siblings can also come to a special holiday club at the same time but they will not be having the lessons or activities. We will as far as possible be keeping children in their own class groups. Due to Covid restrictions we are not running our usual holiday club over the summer except to key workers' children who are now already booked. We will be assessing all children in September and providing more catch-up sessions according to need.
This the invitation letter sent to Y3 & Y5 parents

To make it more convenient for you children can also attend our holiday club from 8 a.m. before the sessions and after the sessions to 6 p.m. free of charge. Any brothers or sisters at Woodside can attend holiday club for the whole day free of charge.
