Thank you to everyone who supported our Hallowe'en Discos, especially all the staff who gave up their evening to help. We raised £849.97 to spend on the children. Our Christmas disco will be on Wednesday 13th December: Infants from 5.00 to 6.15 pm (£3 inclusive) and Juniors from 6.45 to 8.30 pm (4.50 inclusive). Tickets need to be bought via ParentMail from Tuesday 21st November and before midnight 12th December. There will be no exceptions to this. We have reduced the junior cost as we are no longer having hot dogs. All children are now entitled to two items: a drink and a bag of crisps within the entry price. This avoids children bringing, and possibly losing, money and; as tickets can also only be bought online via ParentMail, means we will not have to keep any cash in school. This is unfortunately important now as schools in Thurrock are being systematically burgled by determined thieves who take the school safe. For this reason and for efficiency we are now a cashless school. As staff give up their time freely for these events, all the money raised after we have paid for the disco itself and for the food and drink, is spent on the children.
