We are delighted to announce our upcoming Book Week, running from 3rd to 7th March 2025, including World Book Day on Thursday 6th March. This week is designed to promote reading and nurture a love for books amongst our children, featuring an exciting range of events and activities.
We are thrilled to host a live production of "Alice in Wonderland" performed by M and M Productions, which promises to be an enchanting experience for our students. We will also welcome author Natalie Newman for an interactive visit, allowing children to engage directly with the creative process behind storytelling.
In addition to these events, students can participate in our House Team Kahoot book quiz and a Masked Reader Quiz, encouraging friendly competition and collaborative learning. A highlight of the week will be our Dress-Up Day on Thursday 6th March, where we invite children to come dressed as their favourite book characters.
We are excited to launch a Book T-shirt Competition, encouraging children to design a T-shirt that represents their favourite book, character, or quote creatively. Winners will be announced on World Book Day.
Our book fair will run from 5th to 12th March. All proceeds from books purchased will contribute to acquiring additional reading materials for our school.
We look forward to your support in making Book Week a memorable celebration of literature.
