As you can see from the photographs on this web site our uniform consists of a burgundy sweatshirt or cardigan with the Woodside logo worn over a white polo shirt (also with the logo) worn with grey trousers, skirt, shorts or culottes. Children may wear a plain white shirt or blouse provided they are also wearng a Woodside top with our logo over this. The expectation is that children will be wearing something with our school logo and not wearing anything with any other logo. Black shoes are required for boys and girls and these need to be entirely black without coloured or white logos or trims. Wearing the correct uniform is a requirement for all children and one which is checked on a daily basis. Children without essential items may sometimes be given second hand uniform to wear. Year 6 wear navy blue instead of burgundy and all years have the option of a pink and white gingham dress for summer wear. Woodside fleeces are no longer sold due to environmental issues and we are currently looking for a replacement product. Children who already have fleeces can still wear them to school but should also have a sweatshirt or cardigan for warmer weather. All uniform items should be clearly labelled with your child's name.
For PE children need a tee shirt in their house colour (red, yellow, green or blue) with the Woodside logo, black shorts and trainers. All of the above, together with Woodside hats and bags, are available from Sue's School Wear, 57-59, Clarence Road, Grays, RM17 6QJ or by online order and then collection from Tesco's stores. Swimming hats in house colours are available from the school.
