School Council

Our school council consists of children elected from each class from year 2 to year 6 and provides children with an active model of the democratic process. The council meets monthly to discuss all kinds of school issues, including learning, and take a lead in charity events. The council have represented the school at the Armistice Day and Holocaust Memorial Day events and visited the mayor of Thurrock in the Council Chamber to learn how democracy works. The school council decide on charities for the school to support and this year has chosen Children in Need in the autumn term and Sport Relief in the spring term.
