We are an independent academy and not part of a chain or group of schools or any other organization. We do however work cooperatively with other schools and agencies. We work with all the secondary schools our children go on to in order to ensure a smooth transition and similarly with the preschools our children come from. We have a particular relationship with William Edwards School for which we are a named feeder school. We are a member of Thurrock Excellence Trust, a charity which grew from the former Tilbury and Chadwell Excellence Cluster and which runs the Turnaround Centre based in Stanford-Le-Hope as a service to all schools in Thurrock. Working with Essex Initial Teacher Training we are the lead school in a local training partnership. We are also a member of Thurrock's Independent Primary Academy Group, an association of successful schools which were able to become standalone academies rather part of a larger organization. Although, as an academy, we are no longer administered by the Local Authority, we continue to work closely with Thurrock Council; particular in regard to safeguarding, admissions, music provision, and pupil place planning.
