We will be holding our harvest festivals on Friday 29th September; Year 1-3 starting at 9.00 a.m. and Years 4-6 at 2.00 p.m. The times have been changed so that children can still go swimming. Reception and nursery children will not be involved in this but will have their own celebrations in class (the tea parties planned for that day will changed to another date). Each class will be represented by a short item and we will be singing our harvest hymns.
We will be collecting non-perishable food items for Thurrock Food Bank: tinned vegetables, tinned custard, packets of rice and UHT milk and juice. All food must be in date and unopened. Their most urgent needs are sponge puddings, custard, rice pudding, tinned fish, tinned fruit, pasta sauce, tinned tomatoes, long life juice, long life milk and instant mash. They already have more than enough baked beans. Please send your contribution in from Monday 25th.
We will have very limited space and will need to restrict entry to one parent per family on a first-come first-served basis. Additional children will not be admitted but our crèche will be available.
