Choir at Thameside History Event

Our KS2 choir were invited back to the Thameside Theatre, this time  to sing a selection of WWI songs at a local history event. The children sang Goodbye-ee, Keep the Home Fires Burning, It's a Long Way to Tipperary, and Pack Up Your Troubles In Your Old Kit Bag with the last two songs sung in simultaneous harmony and were extremely well received by the audience. Author and broadcaster Dr Viv Newman gave a fascinating presentation on the Kynoch explosive works and James Reynolds talked about the Corringham Light Railway at a well attended event organized by Thurrock Museum Volunteers.  You can see some of the fascinating photos from the exhibition at https://www.flickr.com/photos/thurrockcouncil/sets/72157675947937374
